1. Overview
This policy governs subscription cancellation and refunds for AIQuity Life. By subscribing to any paid plan, you acknowledge that you have already evaluated the platform through our free tier and trial access, and that your subscription constitutes an informed, voluntary commitment.
Key principle: AIQuity Life provides free access and trials for virtually every feature. Paid subscriptions unlock higher limits, priority access, and advanced capabilities — features you have already previewed before purchasing. Refunds are therefore limited to specific technical and billing errors described below.
2. Free Tier and Trial Access
2.1 Try Before You Buy. Every major feature on AIQuity Life is accessible in some form through:
- The permanent free tier (no credit card required, no time limit)
- Time-limited trial access on premium features (clearly labelled)
- Preview modes on advanced content and tools
2.2 What the Free Tier Includes:
- Introductory learning paths and sample courses
- Interactive playgrounds (limited topic count, full interaction)
- Capped daily Juggernaut interactions
- Basic progress tracking and analytics
2.3 Informed Purchase Decision. Because trials and free access exist for all core features, subscribing indicates you have evaluated the platform and are satisfied with the quality, content depth, and functionality before committing payment.
3. Cancellation
3.1 Cancellation of Future Billing
You may cancel auto-renewal of your subscription at any time:

3.2 Effect of Cancellation
- No future charges. Auto-renewal stops immediately upon cancellation.
- Access continues until period end. You retain premium access for the remainder of your current paid billing period.
- No partial refund. Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund of the current billing period. You have already paid for access through the period end, and that access remains available to you.
- Downgrade at period end. Your account reverts to the free tier once the paid period expires.
3.3 Data After Cancellation

3.4 Re-subscription
You may re-subscribe at any time. Progress and data are preserved.
4. Refund Policy — Strictly Limited
4.1 General Rule: No Refunds
All subscription payments are non-refundable. You acknowledged before subscribing that:
- You evaluated the platform via the free tier and/or trial access
- You understood the subscription terms, pricing, and billing cycle
- The service is a digital content and AI-powered platform delivered immediately upon payment
4.2 Sole Exceptions
Refunds are issued only in the following limited circumstances:

4.3 How to Request
For any of the above exceptions, email reach@aiquitylife.com with:
- Your registered email address
- Transaction ID or billing reference
- Specific exception you are claiming (from the table above)
- Any supporting evidence (e.g., duplicate transaction receipts, cancellation confirmation email)
We respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–14 business days.
4.4 Not Eligible for Refund
The following are explicitly not grounds for a refund:
- Change of mind, buyer's remorse, or deciding you no longer need the service
- Dissatisfaction with content quality, difficulty level, or learning outcomes
- Not having used the service during the billing period (non-use is not our responsibility)
- Finding a cheaper or different alternative
- Course or feature updates that change the presentation or structure
- Price reductions after your purchase
- Partial billing periods remaining after cancellation
- Accounts terminated for Terms of Service violations
- Annual subscriptions cancelled mid-term (access continues until year end; no partial refund)
4.5 Annual Subscriptions
Annual plans are sold at a discounted rate in exchange for a 12-month commitment. They are non-refundable and non-transferable. You may cancel auto-renewal at any time, but the remaining period is not refunded — you retain access until the annual period expires.
5. Payment Terms
5.1 Billing Cycle
- Monthly: Billed on the same calendar date each month.
- Annual: Billed once per year on the subscription anniversary date.
- All charges are collected in advance for the upcoming period.
5.2 Auto-Renewal
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date.
- We send a renewal reminder email 7 days before the renewal date with the amount and a cancel link.
- Failure to cancel before the renewal date constitutes acceptance of the next billing period.
5.3 Price Changes
- We provide at least 30 days' notice before any price increase.
- Your current price is honoured through the end of your current billing period.
- If you do not cancel before the new pricing takes effect, renewal at the new price constitutes acceptance.
5.4 Failed Payments

5.5 Payment Methods
- Credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, RuPay)
- UPI (India)
- Net banking (India)
- International cards via Stripe
All processing is PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant. We store only tokenised references.
5.6 Invoices
- GST-compliant invoices generated automatically for Indian subscribers.
- Available at Settings → Subscription → Billing History.
6. Fair Usage and Abuse
6.1 Abuse of Cancellation/Refund Process
The following constitute abuse:
- Repeatedly subscribing, consuming content, and filing chargebacks or refund requests
- Filing chargebacks without first contacting us
- Providing false information to claim unauthorized charge exceptions
- Creating multiple accounts to exploit trial access repeatedly
6.2 Consequences
- Warning and account suspension for first offence
- Permanent termination without refund for repeated abuse
- Legal action for fraud, including recovery of costs and damages
7. Chargebacks
7.1 Contact us first. If you believe a charge is incorrect, email reach@aiquitylife.com before filing a bank dispute. We resolve legitimate billing errors within 48 hours.
7.2 Unjustified chargebacks. If you file a chargeback for a charge that was legitimately authorized under your active subscription:
- We will submit evidence to your bank demonstrating valid authorization
- Your account will be immediately suspended pending resolution
- If the chargeback is upheld through fraud or misrepresentation, we reserve the right to pursue recovery and terminate your account permanently
7.3 Chargeback filing does not constitute cancellation. You must separately cancel your subscription to prevent future charges.
8. Account Termination by Us
8.1 Grounds
We may terminate your account for:
- Material breach of Terms of Service
- Fraud, including bad-faith payment disputes
- Court order or legal requirement
- Abuse patterns described in Section 6
8.2 Effect
- Termination for cause (fraud, abuse, ToS violation): No refund of any kind. Access ends immediately.
- Termination for legal/regulatory reasons: Pro-rata refund of unused prepaid period.
- Data: Available for export for 14 days post-termination, then deleted.
9. Consumer Protection Compliance
9.1 India — Consumer Protection Act 2019
We comply with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules 2020:
- Clear pricing displayed before purchase
- No hidden charges
- Cancellation mechanism available at all times
- Grievance acknowledgement within 48 hours, resolution within 30 days
Note on digital services: Under Indian law, digital content and services delivered immediately upon purchase are not subject to the same return/refund rules as physical goods. Our free tier constitutes the "trial" mechanism that fulfils the consumer's right to evaluate before purchase.
9.2 EU/UK — Digital Content Directive
For EU/UK users: by subscribing and immediately accessing premium features, you expressly consent to the performance of the digital content contract beginning immediately, and you acknowledge loss of the 14-day withdrawal right for any digital content already accessed. This consent is collected at the point of purchase.
9.3 Other Jurisdictions
Where local mandatory consumer protection law provides rights that cannot be waived by contract, those rights apply. You must provide proof of jurisdiction and the specific mandatory provision when claiming such rights.
10. Changes to This Policy
10.1 We may update this policy at any time to reflect product changes, pricing updates, or legal requirements.
10.2 Material changes are communicated via email at least 15 days before taking effect.
10.3 Continued use of the service after policy changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, cancel before your next renewal.
